The Streetcar is going to host a Six Word Story Contest on our Twitter account. This contest will take place on Wednesday, February 24th from 8am to 5pm. The rules are simple Streetcar fans, it can ONLY be six words…all of your ifs, ands, or buts included!
On that day, from 8am until 5pm, anyone who wishes to participate will tweet at The Streetcar with their six word story and the hashtag #TSCStreetTweet. We will count up all of the likes and retweets, and whichever story receives the most will win the prize. That means even if you don’t want to participate with your own story, you should get on our Twitter that day and vote by liking or retweeting any of the stories that you want to win.
We will give you more details about the prize we are going to give away as the week goes on, so stay tuned for updates on our social media. If you have any questions about this event, you can find us on social media—we have a Facebook and a Twitter—or you can email us at: email@example.com.
We’re excited to see what y’all can come up with in six words, and if you need a little inspiration, here’s a six word story attributed to Hemingway himself: For sale: baby shoes, never worn.
